Zonta Kyneton Student Awards
Zonta Educational Award 2014
The Zonta Educational Award, created in 1995, is given to a girl in her final year of primary education who has been high
achieving in her year level, cooperative in class and has made a contribution to her school community. This $150 award is
offered in both local primary schools.
Lilly Nolte of Our Lady of the Rosary School. Lilly is described by her teachers as an amazing young girl and we
wish her well for secondary school in 2015.
Sara Hill of Kyneton Primary School. Sara’s teachers feel that she is an excellent role model for other students and we
feel sure she will continue this at secondary school in 2015.
Zonta Sporting Award 2014
The Zonta Sporting Award is presented to a girl who has been an outstanding achiever in any sport, particularly at national level competition, has demonstrated the qualities of good sportsmanship and is in need of financial support to continue participation (for travel, equipment or training expenses).
This $200 award is offered in both local secondary schools.
Bodene Holt of Kyneton Secondary College. A year 10 student, Bodene has had great success at district level in soccer, rugby and tennis. She coaches as well as plays these sports.
Hayley Stanford of Sacred Heart College. Hayley is a champion triathlete who has qualified to represent Australia at the ITU Duathalon World Championships in Adelaide in 2015.
